2016 was, to say the least, a frustrating and painful year. A herniated disc in my neck lead to a lot of downtime, and thousands of dollars in physical and massage therapy. There was not much time spent playing music, which is a total bummer, but that is now in the rear view mirror. 2017 has started off much better and my condition has tremendously improved.
Exit Verse released our 2nd album in November of 2016, and we played a few shows in support of that release in December. Brokeback released our 2nd full-band album in February of 2017, and we have some upcoming tour dates in support of the record. More will be announced soon, and I’m excited to get back out on the road.
During some of my downtime last year, I had enough (relatively) pain-free days to start a solo project. I’m still putting together some of the tunes, but I hope to get into the studio later this spring, and have something to share with you by the summer, or early fall.
I’ve said it before, but I’m hoping to keep this site updated a bit more frequently. I find many of my other social media channels to be a bit overwhelming these days, so I’m going to try and use this as a way to share some of my thoughts.
